The improvement of sidewalk keeps accelerating by East Jakarta Administration. As much as 50 points of sidewalk are repaired by East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Bina Marga.

Juaini Yusuf, head of the agency, said physical improvement is needed since the sidewalk often occupied by street vendor, passed by motorcycles, and affected by utility digging.

"Street vendors' shanty often remove the conblock to instal their tent," he said, Tuesday (10/6).

Besides improving the existing sidewalk, his side also plans to construct sidewalk in several areas.

The construction will be done on Jalan Munjul Raya, Jalan Cilangkap Baru, Jalan Cilangkap Raya, Jalan Cipayung Raya, Jalan Ciracas Raya, and Jalan Cibubur Raya.
